Strength coach Luis Garca is a Miami native, who has been involved in athletics since a child. He started playing basketball when he was 5 and fell in love with the game ever since. Luis pursued his love for the game from Miami to Marietta, OH (Marietta College) as a 3 year starter he went on to scoring 1000 points, being 2x defensive player of the year, 2x all conference player,  and in four years having the three best records in school history, one of those landing him in the elite 8 of the NCAA National Tournament. Luis finished his college career and decided to take on strength and conditioning while deciding not to pursue a professional career in basketball.

Luis continues his passion for basketball but has shifted his focus to training and guiding elite and motivated athletes. Luis opened his business “GarciaEffect” and is currently a Certified Athletic trainer, as well as a Certified strength and conditioning specialist, he uses both of these nationally recognized certifications to be able to provide the highest level of training to his clients. His experience overcoming many athletic obstacles and hardships allows Luis to relate to his athletes and the hardships they go through trying to achieve their goals. Luis uses his time and expertise with his professional athletes and celebrity clients alike.
